Jacob Murphy has released an incredible tweet showcasing his life long love of Newcastle United.
After completing the formalities of his transfer his twitter account was quickly updated to read ‘Player at Newcastle United Football Club’.
A £12.5m transfer fee was agreed with Norwich City allowing the 22-year-old to pull on the famous shirt for the first time in an official capacity.

Rafa Benitez has been on the lookout for a winger since the January failure to sign Andros Townsend with Murphy’s stock rising during the second half of the season at Carrow Road.
After impressing for England at the u-21 European Championships in Poland the wheels were set in motion to bring Murphy to St James’ Park.
While some players drag their heels over moving to the north east no arm twisting was required for the 22-year-old who certainly won’t require a crash course in the history of his new club.
