Alex Gilliead is off to Wembley as Bradford City seek a place in The Championship via the League One play-off.

Millwall will provide the opposition on May 20 after Bradford squeezed past Fleetwood on a 1-0 aggregate after holding on to their first leg lead in the return match at the Highbury Stadium.

As is often the case with play-off matches the Wembley clash will be between the teams that finished fifth and sixth in the final League One table with Bradford winning six points more than Millwall.

In the last match between the two clubs, played on January 21, Millwall earned a 1-1 draw at Valley Parade.

Midfielder Gilliead has started five matches and made four substitute appearances for Bradford since switching from Luton in mid-season.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan to Carlisle United and is likely to be sent out on loan again next season with a Championship side the most likely destination.
