Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong have been included in the England squad that takes part in the u-20 World Cup in South Korea.

The Newcastle pair are part of a 21 man squad for the event which runs from 20 May through until 11 June with England qualifying after reaching the semi-finals of last seasons UEFA u-19 European Championship finals in Germany.

Woodman was part of the squad in last season’s European Championships with Armstrong playing his way into Paul Simpson’s squad.

England open the group stage with the toughest test possible against Argentina on Saturday May 20 before playing Guinea and the host nation South Korea on Friday May 26.

The top two teams in each group go forward to the last 16 alongside four runners up for a series of knock out matches culminating in the final on June 11.

The games won’t be the easiest to watch with England’s group matches kicking off at 6/30am, 8am and noon.
