Not that Newcastle United vs Aston Villa needed any more fuel added to the fire, though the visiting Villains will bring with them one of the most villainous characters of the Toon’s campaign thus far.
January signing Henri Lansbury will line up for those in claret and blue at St. James’ Park, making it the first time he’s played the Magpies since his antics for former club Nottingham Forest back in December.
He missed the return fixture between the Reds and Rafa Benitez’s side, though his switch to Villa Park last month has brought him into the firing line once more. Having played a huge part in getting both Paul Dummett and Jonjo Shelvey (both were later rescinded of course) it’s fair to say the 26-year-old is barely the most figure amongst the Toon’s support.
So, as you can well imagine, his inclusion in the starting lineup tonight has provoked big talk on Twitter.
Firmly believe if Lansbury scores tonight, some topless fat bloke will run on the pitch and pile on him in an effort to suffocate him #nufc
