Woodman – The Future
Though we’ve mentioned the likes of Matz Sels, Rob Elliot and the excellent Karl Darlow previously, they aren’t the only ‘keepers currently on the Magpies’ books. Freddie Woodman, currently on loan with Lee Clark up at Kilmarnock, is a hugely talented prospect.
Having helped England win the U-17 European Championships already in his career, the 19-year-old is a huge prospect and perhaps allowing Krul to go would allow him a step up the pecking order.
