West Ham United will make a move for Rafa Benitez should they sack Slaven Bilic, according to the Daily Mirror

The Spaniard almost moved to east London before taking the Real Madrid job last summer, a role he left prematurely as he joined the Magpies before the end of the season.

Having been convinced to stay on Tyneside despite relegation from the Premier League, the 56-year-old is conducting a revolution in black and white.

Still, the report claims the Irons WILL target the Champions League winner should they part ways with Bilic, with his side just one point above the relegation zone.

They also suggest Benitez could be interested in a move, though Newcastle are looking like making an immediate return to the top tier.

A point ahead in the Championship, there’s a real feeling of optimism amongst the Toon Army for once as both Benitez and the club work together to rectify the wrongs of previous regimes.

Surely there’s no way Benitez would leave? Let us know below…
