Moussa Sissoko’s form at the European Championship was about the only good thing he did while employed for Newcastle United since his goal helped keep us in the league on the final day of the 2015/16 campaign.
After a thoroughly miserable season in black and white, one that eventually led to the club’s relegation to the Championship, his outings for Les Blues seemed to propel him into the limelight.
So much so that Tottenham Hotspur (who have made some stunningly savvy signings under Mauricio Pochettino’s watch) were tempted to shell out £30m for the 27-year-old.
Well, as many a Toon could have told their London counterparts, it doesn’t look like it’s going to well for the Frenchman at White Hart Lane or Wembley.
His performance in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen has been widely lamented online and now a video has emerged that sums up his struggles.

Nice to see it’s going well Moussa. We don’t miss you.
