As fun as (other than the first two weeks) this season has been, the main aim of what could be a champagne campaign on Tyneside under Rafa Benitez is to secure a quick-fire promotion to the Premier League.
Though there have been some rather vintage performances under the Spaniard’s masterful stewardship already this term, St. James’ Park will invariably play host to matches that aren’t easy on the eye as the Toon battle through the Championship campaign.
Still, that isn’t to say there can’t be much more of an emphasis on entertainment going forward.

Yasin Ben El-Mhanni is currently impressing in the U23 side having been plucked from non-league and has even drawn comparisons with Leicester City ace Riyad Mahrez.
