Jamaal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark’s burgeoning partnership is looking more and more solid by the minute, though it’s rather fair to say the Magpies can still look somewhat shaky in defence.

With Chris Wood in form for Leeds, the big target man could be the most difficult opponent the pair have faced this term, especially in this kind of form.

Perhaps dropping either Isaac Hayden or Jack Colback deeper to help the pair out would help, reverting into a three-man parternship when needed.
