Though Rafa Benitez took over as manager of Newcastle United way back in March, it’s fair to say the true effects of the Spaniard’s masterful stewardship have aired more recently.

There was clearly a pick up in form during the ultimately doomed Premier League survival bid, though after a summer in charge of the Magpies, the 56-year-old is now truly looking to mold them into his own image.

One of the sewing motifs during his tenure in charge at St. James’ Park has the been use of his trademark rotation policy, as was shown when managing Liverpool all those years ago.

While that is certainly something that’s looking like helping the Toon Army march through the Championship, there’s little doubt it’s a fine art when juggling players eager for game time.
