While the signing of Daryl Murphy in the closing stages of the transfer window came somewhat out of left-field, Newcastle’s striking options now provide Rafa Benitez with a welcome selection headache.

In stark contrast to the Brighton game before the international break, the returns of both Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic have bolstered the front line.

While Ayoze Perez was perhaps at his best so far this season in the 2-0 win over the Seagulls, the prospect of a trip to a physical side such as Derby raises a question.

Who should lead the line?

Murphy is riding the crest of a wave right now after notching his first international goal for the Republic of Ireland in midweek.

Whereas Gayle has notched four goals in four league games since joining the Toon Army and is surely a major contender for the division’s top scorer.

Then there’s the small matter of Mitrovic.

His return from a four-game suspension was hyped up no end and the meeting at the iPro could be the perfect environment for him to make his Championship debut.

So, without further ado, vote below!
