Premier League side Middlesbrough are looking to make a late move for Everton left back Brendan Galloway, according to the Evening Chronicle.
Boro are looking to shore up their defence before transfer deadline day but the Chronicle believe that the 20 year old has already decided to make the move to St James’ Park.
The loan move for the left back was expected to be finalised last week but Everton manager Ronald Koeman has delayed Galloway’s departure in order to bring in more cover before the former MK Dons player leaves the club. The full back was on the bench for the Toffees as they drew 1-1 against Tottenham at Goodison Park on the first day of the Premier League season last weekend.
The Evening Chronicle believe Newcastle expect to finally seal Galloway’s signature on a season long loan deal by the end of this week, with a seven figure loan fee being needed to secure the defender.
