Newcastle United are not interested in signing either Marcos Llorente or Mariano Diaz from Real Madrid as part of the deal for Moussa Sissoko, according to the Evening Chronicle.

The Spanish giants are looking to knock down Newcastle’s £35million asking price for the French international by including the two players but is believed that Rafa Benitez and the Newcastle board are looking for a straight cash deal.

Llorente, a midfielder and Diaz, a striker, both play in Real’s B team Castilla but neither is expected to break through to become first team regulars at the Bernabeu. Llorente is now 21, and although he did play two league matches for the senior team last season, he isn’t expected to be given more game time, especially if Sissoko arrives at the club. Meanwhile Diaz is 23 years of age, and although he is regular scorer in the B side, he has failed to make the breakthrough into first team football.
