With Yohan Cabaye looking set to leave Newcastle United for PSG and seemingly no-one lined up to join the ranks on Tyneside, criticism is once again falling at the feet of Owner Mike Ashley and Director of Football Joe Kinnear.
While Newcastle did a fair bit of business in January last year and bought in some good players in Mathieu Debucy, Moussa Sissoko and Yoan Gouffran, a quiet summer and no activity in this month to date has left Newcastle fans feeling a bit short-changed.
Joe Kinnear was brought in to help Alan Pardew with player acquisition and in his time at the club so far all he has done is help the Magpies complete a loan move for Loic Remy, whilst reportedly failing to secure an option to sign him permanently in the Frenchman’s deal.
However, you can’t blame Kinnear when he’s spending all his time working on his first Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Negotiator’. He can’t remember players’ names, so how is he supposed to remember his lines
