So, transfer deadline day is nearly upon us the only signing the Newcastle United have made to date is the loan signature of Loic Remy from QPR.
As usual, there has been no shortage of transfer rumours and Newcastle have been linked with a whole host of different players, but there’s still not been anyone through the door.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew will be tearing his hair out and must be worried that Director of Football Joe Kinnear and his team won’t be able to get anyone through the door.
It would be a disaster if not one permanent signing was made, but expect Newcastle to swoop for a striker, possibly a left winger and, if Yohan Cabaye is sold to fellow Premier League club Arsenal, a replacement central midfielder as well.
