Papiss Cisse vs ChelseaPapiss Cisse had a simply phenomenal impact when he joined Newcastle United back in January and helped fire the Magpies into the Europa League in the second half of the season.

He made the Newcastle number nine shirt his own and fully lived up to all expectations, as his goal scoring record compares well with those who have worn it before him, such as Alan Shearer and Jackie Milburn.

The Senegal international may only have played 14 Premier League matches for Newcastle United, but he has already helped himself to 13 goals, many of which were stunners as well.

He’s scored against most teams he’s come up against, with Premiership defences struggling to stop him from finding the back of the net.

Cisse secured braces against West Brom, Liverpool, Swansea and Chelsea, and also scored against Aston Villa, Wolves, Norwich, Bolton and Stoke.

Newcastle’s number nine hasn’t scored a hat-trick yet, and he didn’t manage one for Freiburg in the Bundesliga either, but surely it’s only a matter of time before he achieves that feat.

There doesn’t seem to be any type of goal that Cisse can’t score either, as he’s netted with his right foot, his left foot and his head.

Like any good striker he can score the tap in, like the one at the Hawthorns, but Cisse can also score screamers like the one at Stamford Bridge.

It was a case of lucky 13 for Papiss Cisse last season and here’s a great video showing all of his goals for Newcastle United to date…
