Top 13 Newcastle Goals of the 2011/12 SeasonIn the 2011/12 Premier League season Newcastle United played some great football and alongside that scored some cracking goals.

Demba Ba, Ryan Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez were all at it early in the season, while Hatem Ben Arfa, Yohan Cabaye and of course Papiss Cisse came to the party later on.

Each of those players scored some cracking goals and just how good some of the strikes were was emphasised by the fact that Newcastle featured three times in the Match of the Day Goal of the Month award.

In fact, many pundits had Cisse and Ben Arfa going head-to-head for the Premier League Goal of the Season award, which an argument between the Frenchman’s solo effort and the sheer audacity of Cisse’s strike.

There have been few seasons in recent years where Newcastle have scored as many great goals and this obviously prompted VivaGoalsProductions to produce a Top Ten Newcastle Goals of the Season, and here it is…

However, once you’ve watched the video above you’ll notice that there’s a slight issue with it! It doesn’t contain these three great strikes from a certain Senegalese striker…

    In my opinion: 1 Cisse second chelsea. 2. Ben Arfa Blackburn 3. Ben Arfa Bolton 4. Cabaye Man United 5. Ryan Taylor Everton 6. Cisse Aston Villa 7. Gutierrez Wolves (home) 8. Ba Man United 9. Cisse Swansea 10. Cisse first Chelsea.

    So it’s Sameobi, Raylor, Jonas and Cabaye out and Ba in for me. It’s been a very strong year though for us. Especially when we’ve got to whittle it down and the 3 against West Brom or Guthrie’s vs Fulham haven’t even been mentioned yet!

    Can’t argue with much of that, but would have Cisse’s second against Swansea in my top 5
