Newcastle are currently on a six-game winning streak and now look like serious contenders for the Premier League fourth spot. They’re brimming with confidence as they head to Wigan this weekend.

Cabaye’s two goals last weekend were a reward for his impressive performances throughout the season. He’s already covered 182.2 miles for Newcastle this season and will be looking to break the 200-mile mark before the end of the season.

Senegalese striker, Demba Ba, is Newcastle’s highest ranked player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. He currently sits 13th in the overall standings.

According to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, Ba has scored 32.6% of Newcastle’s total goals this season. Ba has put 16 in the back of the net this season.

Al Habsi has been solid in goal for Wigan this season, and made crucial saves against Fulham last weekend. Al Habsi has completed 171 saves so far this season, which is the fifth most saves made this season.

Maynor Figueroa completed his 100th tackle last weekend against Fulham and remains top of the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index for tackles completed this season.

Figueroa has the most impressive stats in the Premier League for tackles completion rate, so far this season. According to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index 79% of all the tackles he attempted he’s won.

Gary Caldwell has been throwing himself in the way of shots this season. He’s made 40 blocks for Wigan this season, no other player has made more than 40 blocks.
