SEVEN questions to test if you really are a Newcastle fan

What makes a true Newcastle United fan? Is it simply someone who goes to St James’ Park to watch the Magpies in the Premier League, week in, week out? Is it someone who follows Newcastle religiously, even if they can’t get to games and keeps up to date with every piece of Newcastle United news online?

I would argue it’s someone who visits NothingButNewcastle.com on a daily basis (joking of course), but some clever clogs has come up with a flow-chart of questions, with the answers you give eventually resulting in revealing the Premier League club you should support.

You’ll quickly realise this is not at all scientific and is just a bit of fun, but it’s interesting nonetheless. The results for Newcastle are not particularly complimentary, as they say that Newcastle United fans live in the distant past, presumably because the Magpies haven’t picked up a proper trophy in a number of years.

They also reckon that the only difference between Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur fans are that the Toon Army don’t consider it necessary to wear a shirt in the winter, whereas the southern softies do.
