It’s been a while since Newcastle fans have been able to enjoy this sight; Hatem Ben Arfa fit and playing football! Newcastle returned to training this week and the Frenchman took a full part in the pre-season workout along with the rest of the squad.
Hopefully if all goes well and he doesn’t suffer a setback, Ben Arfa will be lining up in a Newcastle shirt once more at St James’ Park against Arsenal come August. He’ll be desperate to make an impact next season after being out for so long, so Alan Pardew might have a job on his hands to stop the attacking midfielder from over doing it.
