There’s just so much good about Newcastle United right now, despite the fact the club were relegated from the Premier League back in May.
Still, ever since sinking into the Championship for the second time since 2009, the Toon Army have appeared far more united under the masterful stewardship of Rafa Benitez.
From the bottom up, the Magpies appear to be growing and the wingspan of the ‘Rafalution’ appears to grow wider and wider with every passing day the Spaniard is involved with the club.
For so long during the Mike Ashley era at St. James’ Park, the fans seemed like an afterthought and even the club’s own media department was never great at sharing with the fans.
However, yet another indicator of the changing winds on Tyneside has been posted by the club’s official Twitter account.
Though the cynic would say it’s a fancy promotion tool to get fans buying half-season tickets, there’s little need to encourage the Newcastle faithful in that regard.
In a video under two minutes, it’s perfectly summed up what it’s like to be a Toon right now.
