Newcastle United are interested in signing Deandre Yedlin from Tottenham, according to the Daily Mail. Aston Villa, Hull City and Derby County are also looking at the 23 year old.

It is believed the right back is available for £4million but Spurs need to keep some cover for first choice right back Kyle Walker, and will only allow Yedlin to leave if Kieran Trippier stays at the club. Trippier joined from Burnley last summer but has been frustrated by the lack of game time at White Hart Lane.

Yedlin spent last season on loan at Sunderland but Rafa Benitez is keen on bringing in some cover in the full back area. Daryl Janmaat is believed to be interesting both West Ham and Napoli, and the Magpies boss wants a new right back in order to provide some competition for both Jesus Gamez and utlity player Vurnon Anita, who played in the position against Bristol City at the weekend
