Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is targeting four more new signings in the next month, according to the Daily Telegraph. The Spaniard has already signed six players in the transfer window so far with Grant Hanley, Isaac Hayden, Jesus Gamez, Matt Ritchie, Dwight Gayle and Matz Sels all making a move to St James’ Park.
The Telegraph is reporting that Rafa wants to sign a new striker, a winger, a midfielder and left back before the end of August. In terms of the actual players who have been linked for these positions, there have been four names in Ross McCormack, Daryl Murphy, Alex Pritchard and Conor Coady.
The possible saying of Moussa Sissoko to Real Madrid could lead to summer sales totalling £60million, most of which Benitez will expect to be reinvested in the squad as the Magpies look to challenge at the top of the Championship with eyes firmly set on a quick return to the Premier League.
