Chancel Mbemba is an athlete who has strengthened the Newcastle backline. If the Capital One Cup win against Northampton Town is anything to go by then Florian Thauvin will be an exciting flair player in the middle of the park. While, if he can control his aggressive nature, Aleksander Mitrovic looks like he could be a good target man for years to come.
However, us football fans are a little greedy and it would be great if Mike Ashley could put his hand in his pocket once more and get one more player for manager Steve McClaren to help strengthen the squad further. If one or two, such as Yoan Gouffran and Papiss CIsse, follow Mehdi Abeid out of the St James’ Park exit door then it would be good if they were replaced and added further quality to the playing staff.
