Manchester City outcast a perfect option for Newcastle

While signing young English talent doesn’t seem to be Newcastle United’s priority in the transfer window right now, maybe they would make an exception for Manchester City’s Scott Sinclair.

You had to wonder when Scott Sinclair moved to Man City in the summer whether it would be the right move for the youngster, and as of now it doesn’t look like it was.

While there would have been terrific financial rewards for the 23-year-old winger, he has only played a handful of games for the Premier League champions and his form for Swansea is being quickly forgotten.

However, it appears that plenty of top flight bosses are keeping an eye on him as Newcastle, in addition to Aston Villa, Sunderland and Everton have all been credited with an interest.

Signed from Swansea just six months ago for £6.7 million, Sinclair has only played a handful of games for City, who may be willing to let the Great Britain international go out of loan until the end of the season.

This could be perfect for Newcastle, as Sinclair would provide goals from the left side of a front free for the Toon (he scored 35 goals in two seasons in South Wales).

With Sinclair on the left, a fit Hatem Ben Arfa on the right and Papiss Cisse or possibly a replacement through the middle, that would be a front three that should score the goals to keep Newcastle in the Premier League.

Manchester City’s outcast could just be Newcastle’s saviour.

As a blue I would like to see him get some games on loan. He has already played for us and Swansea this season which I think rules out any move until next season.

John Guidetti would be a perfect loan move for both player and club. He needs game time following after recovering from his nerve ailment and a regular place in the NUFC team would be just the job. He’s a great prospect, have a look on youtube to see his exploits in Holland last year.
