Yohan Cabaye has had a fantastic first season at Newcastle United, playing a huge part in guiding the Magpies to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has proved to be a great bit of business by Newcastle, as the Frenchman has settled straight into life in English football alongside his friends and Newcastle United teammates Hatem Ben Arfa and Demba Ba.

If Alan Pardew has his way this summer, then another one of Yohan’s great mates, Mathieu Debuchy, will be joining Cabaye in the north-east this summer.

They will be playing together for France in Euro 2012 next month, ahead of which Yohan has released a new video on his Official Website.

The video just confirms how down to earth Cabaye is and how appreciative he is of everyone who has helped him get this far in his football career to date.

He talks about the passion, enthusiasm and craze of the Newcastle United fans and the adrenaline that he feels when he steps out onto the pitch.

Yohan also says people that don’t know him well call him Cabaye, but that his friends call him Yo.!
