The fallout from Newcastle United’s 2-0 win over Liverpool continued today as Newcastle fans went to work feeling happy and the Reds just wanted to forget about it.

The main source of enjoyment for Newcastle United fans is the fact that Papiss Cisse has now scored 7 goals in 7 games – more than has mustered all season.

According to The Sun, when Carroll was hauled off by Kenny Dalglish yesterday he launched into a tirade at the Liverpool manager and Alan Pardew.

It is being reported that Carroll shouted “It’s a f****** joke, f*** off” at Dalglish as he ripped his shirt off and disappeared down the tunnel.

He then also allegedly shouted at Pardew: “I did not dive, you f****** c***,” but the Newcastle manager does have some sympathy for the ex-Newcastle striker.

Pardew stated after the match yesterday that: “I felt for Andy today, I did. “He’s a terrific lad and he’s having a tough year. But he will come back.”

One place where there was no sympathy whatsoever for Andy Carroll was Twitter as he continued to be mocked by the Toon Army and the footballing world today.

Take a look at this gem of an image from @BeardedGenius, showing an item recall for a faulty Andy Carroll action figure…

He definitely goes to pieces in the box and Cisse is certainly a much better alternative at less than a third of the price!
