Would this be your Newcastle 5-a-side team?

Alan Pardew’s job of picking a Newcastle United starting eleven is not particularly difficult right now. Tim Krul picks himself, and with captain Fabricio Coloccini out for the next couple of games there aren’t that many options in the back four. Cheick Tiote should return against Liverpool and join Jonas Gutierrez and Yohan Cabaye in the middle of the park. Then the front three of Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba who were on fire against West Brom will be Newcastle’s main attacking threat at St James’ Park on Sunday. So that’s a starting eleven done and dusted, but what if Pardew had to put together a five-a-side team?

That’s exactly what you have to do in FIFA Street, the latest instalment in the renowned FIFA franchise of football games. A slight departure from the usual fare on offer from FIFA games, FIFA Street comes with hoodies, vests and tricks galore. Complete Pannas and rainbow turns galore as you look to not only beat your opponents but also embarrass them with a whole heap of showboating. Get the crowd on your side by racking up your entertainment points and remember that football juggling always goes down well with the fans at one of 35 locations in the game.

You’ll get to experience those when you embark on a World Tour, to show that you’re the best street team on the planet. Complete the assorted tournaments and street challenges and own the street. As with any game these days there’s plenty of unlockable content from kits and street wear to legendary teams. As with all FIFA games, the players are fully licensed, so you’ll be able to see Coloccini’s mane in all its glory and, if you manage to draft Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney onto your team, his hair transplant too.

So, back to the task of picking your Newcastle street team. I’ve gone for Krul, Coloccini, Tiote, Ben Arfa and Ba. That leaves me with Cabaye, Gutierrez and Cisse to come off the bench when they’re needed. Ben Arfa’s captured down to the ground by the game, which not only portrays him as incredibly skilful, but also has him wearing a hoodie when the rest of the Newcastle team are in training kit. Post your FIFA Street Newcastle five-a-side teams in the comments section below as well as the player from the Premier League that you’d most like to have in your side…
