PICTURE: Taylor reveals the Newcastle star with the worst dress sense

Footballers are not renowned for having the best dress sense, you only have to have a look at the shirts Alan Shearer wears on Match of the Day to see that. But who has the worst dress sense at Newcastle United?

If these shoes are anything to go by then it is Newcastle’s combative midfielder Cheick Tiote. The Ivorian has a questionable haircut but these shoes are truly shocking and it didn’t take long for Ryan Taylor to pick up on them.

Yesterday Taylor Tweeted: “Cheik Tiote’s got some absolute rascals on today!! They deserve to be cut up.. I’m not doin it tho!” and posted the below picture. So he’s happy to criticise Tiote’s shiny shoes, but he daren’t mess with Mr T and who can blame him?

Tiote gets stuck in during training as well as the 90 minutes and Newcastle could really do with him when they travel to The Hawthorns to take on West Brom in the Premier League on Sunday. As far as I’m concerned, as long as he’s doing the business on the pitch then he can wear whatever he likes off it.
