Newcastle give Barton the boot – HAVE YOUR SAY

Joey Barton has had plenty to say about being allowed to leave Newcastle on a free transfer – but then that’s what got him into trouble in the first place!

I’ve heard enough from him, now it’s time for you, the brilliant Newcastle fans, to step forward and have your say.

Danny Simpson has said he’s lost for words, however I’m sure you won’t be! Nile Ranger has also tweeted a load of unhappy faces and said: :(who can take this off my face”, but what do you think?

Have your say on Joey Barton being booted out of Newcastle below…

Lets hope both Barton and Enrique will soon be out the door and we can get on with rebuilding the club after they got us relegated.
If they want to run a club why don’t they buy one?

sick of his ranting – he’s finally engineered his move.If only his talent was as big as his ego.Good riddance the TEAM will be better off without this self obsessed idiot.

Good riddance to a good footballer but an idiot who thinks he is bigger than the club.He is under contract until 2012 and would help the club more if he shared his opinions with the coaching staff rather than the rest of the world.Perhaps this ‘rant’ was to engineer a free transfer to his beloved Everton?

He has talked all summer of the problems at Newcastle but appears too stupid to realise that his continual childish outbursts are partly responsible. I reckon he has finally got what he wants and hopefully he will be gone soon so that we can start concentrating on football again.

Totally agree with most of the comments so far..the man’s a disgrace and if he where in a normal job then he would have been sacked a long time for his endless public rants. I think this is his way of engineering a move out of Newcastle and wants us to believe that its not his fault. Well sorry Barton..I for one am not falling for it!! The sooner he and Jose get out and stop causing unrest the better. In my opinion, given the opportunity, Gosling could be the man to step up to the plate and replace him.

I can see this dragging on for a while unfortunately….

Surprise surprise – reportedly only Stoke have shown an interest and now he’s talking about staying. Hope he enjoys training on his tod for a year and getting fined at every opportunity
